Viagra is an oral drug that is used to cure male impotence. It works by dilating blood vessels in the penis causing more blood to rush into it during an erection.

Usage

The best way to take Viagra would depend on how the drug works for you. For some males, it works best when taken an hour prior to sexual activity. For others, the ideal duration is anywhere between 1 to 4 hours.

Missed Dose

Unlike other medications, Viagra is not to be taken regularly. Take it only prior to sexual activity.

Storage

Store it at room temperature.

Overdose

There are no reported cases of a Viagra overdose. But you should seek medical attention immediately if you suspect an overdose.

Use with extreme caution if you have heart problems, sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma or/and stomach ulcers. Do not take it if you are using any medication that contain nitrates.

In rare instances, men taking PDE5 inhibitors (oral erectile dysfunction medicines, including Brand Viagra) reported a sudden decrease or loss of vision. It is not possible to determine whether these events are related directly to these medicines or to other factors. If you experience sudden decrease or loss of vision, stop taking PDE5 inhibitors, including Brand Viagra, and call a doctor right away.
Sudden decrease or loss of hearing has been rarely reported in people taking PDE5 inhibitors, including Brand Viagra. It is not possible to determine whether these events are related directly to the PDE5 inhibitors or to other factors. If you experience sudden decrease or loss of hearing, stop taking Brand Viagra and contact a doctor right away.
If you have prostate problems or high blood pressure for which you take medicines called alpha blockers, your doctor may start you on a lower dose of Brand Viagra.
Brand Viagra does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.
The most common side effects of Brand Viagra are headache, facial flushing, and upset stomach. Less commonly, bluish vision, blurred vision, or sensitivity to light may briefly occur.

Possible Side Effects

Headache
